Darovanský dvůr is a newly reconstructed farmstead dating back to the 17th century. The farmstead has been owned by the Sinkule family for more than 100 years. It is situated in the beautiful, tranquil countryside of the Horní Berounka nature park not far from Pilsen, and it is easily accessible from the Pilsen - Prague motorway.

The hotel complex consists of several buildings of the self-enclosed former farmstead. The main dominant feature of the complex is a large green with a pond lined with majestic, hundred-year-old chestnut trees. The historical buildings surrounding the courtyard have been sensitively reconstructed and enhance the atmosphere of peace and quiet amidst the picturesque countryside. A new building, Kongres & Golf Hotel, was constructed in the location of a barn that burnt down. The architectural style of the hotel has been carefully chosen to suit the complex of historical buildings.

Main Building of the Kongres & Golf Hotel

This is the 'heart' of the whole complex - a spacious, elegant entrance hall housing a reception area, the main restaurant, a cosy lobby bar, a sunny colonial-style seating area, and a well equipped golf shop.

A modern and multi-purpose convention hall with a maximum capacity of 250 is also available, together with multi-purpose lounges, all equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual technology.

Golf Restaurant

An elegant restaurant with a 300-year-old scullery forms a part of the complex. The restaurant is very popular thanks to its unique atmosphere, providing an informal space to enjoy good food and drinks. The scullery supplies our guests with excellent grilled specialities.

Outside Terraces and Courtyard

The extensive outside terraces and the picturesque courtyard are sought after by our guests as they provide an immediate connection with the local countryside. The most popular are the terraces leading into the golf course, enabling one to watch golfers and romantic sunsets.

Services

The complex has been created over a period of 10 years and provides its guests with a variety of services including accommodation, catering, sporting facilities etc. Next to the hotel is a 27-hole golf course, a public golf course with 9 holes, 3 tennis courts, a heated indoor swimming pool and a horse-riding school. We have started to breed ponies in order to satisfy our very youngest customers. From April 2006 two bowling alleys and a modern interactive social game - LASER GAME - will be available.

We can organise hunting in a nearby well-kept game preserve.

Golf Course

The golf course is one of the most popular facilities, sought after by hotel guests and by corporate clients attending conventions. The course has 27 holes of championship parameters for players with an HCP and Green Card. There is also a 9-hole public course available to new players and the public. The entire complex has been sensitively located amidst rolling countryside with mixed forests. The countryside offers panoramic views of the individual holes and the meanderings of the charming Berounka River.

The Darovanský dvůr hotel complex is currently the largest leisure centre in the country and it is a very modern centre for convention tourism.
